Hello!
Photo by Abby Kerr at The Blissful
Well, hello there! I've been away from the blogging world as a writer for quite awhile now. I'm back because I have a renewed interest in sharing my thoughts on design: my own jewelry design, the designs of those I admire, and lifestyle design.
This renewed interest was prompted by the happy/sad closing of a store known well in these parts (and beyond) as The Blissful, located in Canton, OH. I'm closely acquainted with this store because it was dreamed up by proprietor Abby Kerr, who happens to be one of my closest friends.
The closing is happy because Abby is moving on to pursue different dreams after having wildly and successful fulfilling her dream to create a fantastic lifestyle boutique. It is sad because Northeast Ohio is losing a unique gem of a store.
On a personal note, I am also losing the perfect venue for my jewelry designs. Since its opening, I have exclusively sold my jewelry at The Blissful, and I will sorely miss being a part of the magic of that store. (The photo is a shot from the Indie Girl trunk show at The Blissful last June.)
Taking a page out of Abby's book, however, I am looking forward to my next adventure, which is making my wares available on Etsy. I'll be posting a link to my Etsy page soon!
...to new beginnings!
